Tucked away in the northwest corner of Thurston County, Meridian Campus lies within the Puget Sound area just one hour south of Seattle. This 1,153-acre master planned community stretches over. There are two elementary schools and a middle school in the community.

Golf

Meridian's two courses are Meriwood and Vicwood.

Meriwood a 6,159 yard par 72, is carved out of the tall native timber with wide fairways and generous greens. Golf Digest ranked it as one of America's top 75 most affordable golf courses. The course has a variety of ponds, waterfalls and native wetlands. There is also a nine-hole grass putting track.

This 17th hole is a dogleg left that requires a precise drive down the right-side of the fairway. Your approach shot will have to carry the wetland in front of the green. Be mindful of the bunker guarding the right-side of the green. Your drive on the 18th will have to be placed on the right-side of the fairway in front of the depression. From there the smart play is to lay-up with a mid-iron over the depression to the left-side of the fairway. You will have a short approach shot into the green for your birdie putt.

Vicwood, 6,331 yards from the white tees, follows a Scottish design. The wide open fairways allow golfers to experience a great game of golf as well as the surrounding beauty. On a clear day Mt. Rainier is evident from most holes on the front nine, while views of Puget Sound can be found on the back nine.

Real Estate

Custom homes, single-family homes, multi-family units and a select builder program are available. A slow-growth plan extends to 2027.

The first phase of lots on the Meriwood course is now available. Called Campus Green, there are 62 single-family lots ranging from 8,300 square feet to 15,000 square feet.

There are 138 single family homes in Campus Park, with a few lots still remaining.

Campus Green is a 62 lot neighborhood located on the 18th fairway of Meriwood Golf Course. A variety of lots are available, with 23 of these lots located along the 18th fairway. New home construction is currently underway.

Two sites are reserved for Townhomes/Condominiums on the Meriwood Golf Course. Three additional sites off of the golf course will soon be on the market. The community expects over 7,000 residents upon completion. Meridian Campus West is a future residential development of 1776 units that will surround Vicwood Golf Links.

Miscellaneous

All homeowners will receive a one-year membership to Meriwood Golf Course and have the benefit of local schools, parks, open space, shopping center, religious facilities, walking and biking trails, all of which are located within Meridian Campus.

A wildlife preserve runs through the property as a corridor between the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge and Tolmie State Park. Deer, raccoons, bald head eagles and other mammals freely are easily seen from the hiking and biking trails.
