Forty-five miles north of Knoxville, on Norris Lake, Woodlake offers a championship golf course and affordable, large homesites with lake and golf course views. The lake extends 56 miles up the Powell River and 72 miles up the Clinch River, providing excellent fishing and water skiing. The lake has more than 12 full-service marinas.
Golf
The award winning 6,880-yard championship golf course features Bermuda fairways, bent grass greens and seven water holes. It was named the "Best Semi-Private Golf Course, 2000," and the "Best New Golf Course, 1999" by East Tennessee Golf & News.
The course winds its way throughout the Woodlake community, putting almost every home on or in view of the fairways. The layout was designed by Fort Pierce, Florida-based G.C.R., Inc. The club driving range is a good place to work on your swing before hitting the links. There are also several putting greens available.
Real Estate
Homesites start at $24,900 with an optional private boat slip on the water. Select homesites feature mountain, lake and golf course views.
There is currently a special real estate promotion at Woodlake. Seven new one-half acre homesites have just been made available by the 16th fairway of the golf course. The sites offer spectacular views of Lone Mountain. A few one-acre homesites on the golf course's 16th green are also currently on the market. These sites start at $32,900 and come with a private boat dock. Available "Phase III" homesites all have access to Norris Lake. Call to find out what remains available.
Miscellaneous
Amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, lighted tennis facility and restaurant and east Tennessee's purest reservoir, Norris Lake, which is available for water sports. Woodlake is also nearby many state and local parks of east Tennessee.
